| I was trying my best to study for my exam, but somehow I just couldn't focus. Tiredness wasn't the only factor.
There's something weighing me down in my heart. It's disappointment, disappointment in my brother. I still can't believe that the happy-go-lucky, and somehow, innocent boy/man, that I had known since I was a child had become someone totally different. I couldn't even believe his change in behaviour until my cousin had reaffirmed me several times over the phone. I refused, and still refuse, to accept the fact that he had picked up smoking.
It's sad, so sad, that he had turned to smoking, for better socialising and enjoyment. It's such a pity, that he had chosen to ruin his own body and health, in return for friends and fun.Of course, I'll try my best to make him stop, but with the influence of his army camp mates? It's going to be a challenge for me.
I really hope he can come back to his senses. Smoking is bad for health, and the men don't get it.

| Why doesn't anyone listen to me... Whenever I talk to my Grandma, she doesn't even care what I'm talking about and just rant on her own like I'm just a listening doll. Even my mom doesn't care a damn thing about what I say. I told her to talk to her boss about her workload (she's got arthritis, she can't move heavy things about too much) and her knee's still acting up. And I send people messages and they don't reply me. And I talk to people on msn and nobody cares. And the list goes on... So I shall also rant on about my own to the empty space...

| June 27 2007, 3.15pm XX High
A witness, name unknown, reported a gang fight that had broken out in her school. A group of foolhardy boys from another high school, YY High, audaciously stomped into XX High, just to pick a fight on a poor innocent boy who didn't really offend these daredevils in any way except to stare at them blankly in a train. Their bold acts made a huge impact on any XX Highschoolers, but their actions can hardly eclipse the meaningless and silly motive that they had carried with them on the day of the incident.
There was an exclusive interview with the witness, as she let us into the intriguing side of the story, as well as the truth behind this adolescent act of violence.
'As I was descending the flock of stairs right beside my classroom, I saw 7 boys of around my age, boldly wearing their school uniforms and thus disclosing their identities as students from YY High, ascending the stairs, apparently heading to the 3rd floor, where all the final year schoolers are. Little did I know that, I had just missed the first moments of a beginning of a scandulous high schooler gang fight.
On the next day, I heard from my friend, Christy, that there had been a staring incident not too long ago between a bunch of guys and gals from the class next door, with those 7 boys from YY High, at a train. One of those YY High boys has a girlfriend in our school, a third year. She happens to know one of those guys that her boyfriend and her gang had stared at, so she helped the two parties with their 'meeting', so that the boys from YY High can vent their violent needs onto those innocent XX Highschoolers.'
Though she had not witnessed the whole fight, it is apparent to all that those were the 7 boys who had picked a fight in XX High. Christy, another witness present at the scene of the fight, told us that: 'It was terrifying. Thank goodness the targeted victims had heard about the arrival of the 7 YY High boys and called for more help before they had come. It was a relief that there were at least 30 guys who turned up when the plea was called, but sadly, none of them could stop the fight.'
When we pressed further, this is what she said, 'They were all cowards, afraid of getting hurt. So was I, but I'm a girl you see. But 30 guys against 7... Surely we have more advantages at our side, right? Thankfully a teacher showed up and the 7 boys escaped.'
We tried to approach the girl who helped mediated this gang fight, -the girlfriend of one of the daredevils- Prissy. However, it seemed that she was embarrassed and refused to accept any interview. We hope she'll learn her lesson on how being a bridge between two gangs helps her reputation as a 'smart and capable student of XX High'.

You are The Lovers
Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse.
The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.
Originally, this card was called
just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in
this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor,
who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a
force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't
understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that
is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so
much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them,
that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have
or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will
fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this,
even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the
difficulties, without it you will never be complete.
